Charity head shave in conjunction with Wilkos

Another event covered. Well done to Wynne Cawdron and Alex Ingham, who took part in a hair raising event at Wilkos in Nelson. The 2 ladies involved are both students at Nelson & Colne College , who have a family but gave up their time on a Saturday to help raise over £1,000.

 Be ready students of 2014-2015 I am looking for anyone volunteer to join the hall of fame, could it be you ?

 September last year starts a look back on fun, laughter , tears, emotions and a fab year on the level 2 journey.  At the start of term in tutorial, we all gave ideas as to what we would do for our fundraising event in October. One fantastic student Wynne Cawdron agreed to have her head shaved. All her friends in the group gave £10.00 each towards Pendle side Hospice and many sponsored her too!
Wynne and her fellow students, friends and families raised over £600.00. It was an emotional day as we all made posters to remember someone we had loved and lost.
