Half term

October half term comes around so quickly. The students are taking a well deserved rest and the salons are very quiet without them. Can't wait to get them all back and busy with clients. From now the rush is on for Christmas bookings and a lot of the salon classes are getting busy. This is a great opportunity for all the students to gain valuable assessments on the public! This will also help promote their communication skills when working in a salon in the future.

See ya next week with more pics from the salons 😃

Fantastic result Kira, you did a superb job on Debbie's hair. The protein mask by Kerastraight is brilliant as you can see.

How to ...... On blow drying

Chloe has produced some excellent curls that are on trend and a current way of styling. She has made sure that the hair is smooth before wrapping around to the root and warming through with the hair dryer. This will ensure lasting curls. Leave the brush in to cool down and remove once cool, wrap into a barrel and clip to hold in place whilst you work on other areas. This will give the style volume and body.

Hair up styel

H2A did a fabulous job of these hair up styles. The fringe is sectioned into a V shape and back brushed underneath and then smoothed on top and rolled under towards the face to create this stunning roll. The rest of the hair was curled with curling tongs and pinned up on the top. As you can see the results are great. Well done to my dedicated students
